3rd HTD

it's the 3rd HTD and it's the last HTD for this semester.
had better food this time. coz it's at loke yew hall.
everything went as usual - speech from guest, ppl studying during the speech, dinner, pics, warden's 2 words, floor meeting... every time ll have the same procedure. just tat diff clothes, diff food but same ppl, same flow. =p

from a 3 weeks LIONS club exchange, to 3 months NS, 3 Months expedition n 3 years study abroad.
yes, i m learning n i need to overcome it.
it may b tough sometimes but tis is a good way to grow up.

way enough for today, back to study [the only thing i need to do now. for the remaining 4 weeks. then i ll b set free] =p

joined sedan chair run as volunteer. raleigh was suppose to carry all the chair at finishing point n disassemble it. a great experience.

went hiking as usual.

and here i reached the place where v got loss during MM!
it's the gilbert scouts camp and mao chou ngam (where adrian said it is mat dou ngam..)
lydia was discussing wif me how v got lost n till now she still dun understand how v went to gun yam village.
n sis: the fire engine is confirmed from wong tai sin fire station. (and lydia doesnt know that the fire brigade came... she only knows that the police rescued us!! she is amazed that v can get into a police car n made the fire engine came all the way... some more 2 fire engines came..)
lydia said she is interested on the route v got lost during MM.
so i might be bring her to the place again.. haha... n look for the bus driver who directed us to the wrong position.

it symbolises the end of starr fest.
n it's a regular event for every month

this is wat i have been doing n will be doing.we (sunny n i) are pub to be the star of Starr hall for our unit (it's part of the Starr Festival). cant really imagine me doing this... the character ll last for a week but the memories ll last forever.. oh gosh!!

wei lun's theory

now only i realised wat wei lun told me is correct.
i remembered he told me this "sleeping is wasting time. i rather use more time to do revision than sleeping"
yes.. i m in the same situation now. i think i have not enough time to study. tat's y i m still up now.

luying's solution:
-take nap but not more than 1hr
-study consistently - so than u have less to study when it's exam time (although i ll go through everything in the end - my style)
-less on9 (i know it's hard to control but i m trying to cut part by part)
-less hall activities - means u plan when to join n when not to join.

ok.. it's time. back to study!

stress and appetite

just wondering if stress will affect appetite.
i heard ppl dun eat bcoz of stress but i found tat i hardly feel full or tend to look for food these few week.
eventhough i already had my normal meal.
just feel like eating
izzit bcoz of stress or just bcoz of the weather. it's turning cooler now.
try to control so tat i wont overeat n harm my stomach.
btw, sis, dun need to tell mum bout tis.. dun let her worry bout me. i m alrite here. living happily ever after... =p

Wilson Trail revisit

went hiking wif lydia n maggie. normally will go hiking wif them every sun. but since today is a public holiday, v went for another hike.


love tis place. it's from causeway bay(park view) to quarray bay. nice view and let's c wat i saw there... u ll b amazed!

lastly presenting tis useful tool for stretching. simple but cool invention. it's call hurdle stretch.

caligraphy

well, joined the ISN (international student network) for mid autumn festival celebration. i didnt know anything about the function, just went down for it as my fren asked me to do so.


n wrote tis :

ok.. at least i can still write caligraphy, not too good but at least not ugly!!

at the end of the session, v ate mooncake - coffee n nut from starbucks, bird nest mooncake, choc mooncake, yong zhi kam lou mooncake and of course the traditional 1.

finally

i applied for hkid finally
went to wanchai immigration tower today
n it was a complicated process for me to apply a single card - hkid
i went to 8th floor (in charge for hkid) - they told me my student visa has expired (which they didnt tell me during the 1st time i went - they only asked me to leave hk n enter again - n i was brought to the immigration office in shenzhen tat day)
then went to 2nd floor - information counter - ask about my visa
as been told, went to 9th floor, then they said they only in charge for mainland
n went to 5th floor(in charge for visa overstay), they said they dun in charge for student visa
n finally 7th floor - the correct 1.
n the officer told me i need to make another visa n pay hkd160. i told him: it's mistake from your colleague, y should i pay?
then he asked his supervisor to attend me. n finally the supervisor settle for me without any fee required. but to get the visa, i waited for 3 hrs.
loitered in wanchai. did window shopping and buy some neccessities
after 2 hrs, the supervisor called me n ask me to collect my visa. waited for 1 hr to collect.
n went back to 8th floor to apply for hkid.
saw a big sign writing "quota full"
luckily i m smart enough to tell them "i did book for 12.45pm (but tat time was 4.15pm), but ur officer said there is some prob wif my visa. so he asked me to go down to settle and come back again. n tat guy just nodded and gave me a number. (n the fact is, if u missed ur booking time, u need to book again or take the walk in quota - n the officer didnt tell me if my on9 booking still valid since i didnt apply it at 12.45pm)
anyway, i got my number, waited for the next procedure.
n finally at 5.30pm, i got my temporary hkid!
thanks god!
yuhoo!! i think i should celebrate and shout out loud! it was really a hard time!
need to go back to wanchai after 2 weeks to collect my hkid....
phew.. finally... stories end...

just in case

just in case u were thinking that i went to shenzhen last weekend, i would like to announce thati went guangzhou instead
coz my fren is not free to go wif me and there 1 i suppose to stay in her house told me that her house has no space for me as china is having public holidays and her aunt is staying in her house.
well, had a great weekend at my fren's relatives' house (another fren)
have a family dinner during mid autumn.
it was really great to have family dinner at tis festival
i guess i ll feel lonely if i were not there
then morning tea (n tis is a normal morning tea tat v had it at 8.30am) and followed by badminton game
n i manage to cut my hair b4 the lunch (hu nan dishes) - n it's all spicy coz they know v like spicy
really really love the place n they made my feel home
i ll surely go guangzhou to visit them

n another experience at the shenzhen n hk border
the officer said my student visa has expired and i can enter hk as student, can onlyb visitor.
n he brought me to the immigration office
like movie
n stayed there n waited for them to gau dim my matter (n they still put me as visitor lastly..)
i wonder y i got to experience all tis things in hk... hmm....

going to shenzhen wif my fren tmr.. so excited. planning for a trip for so long.
mainly to relax and of course for SHOPPING.
but actually i would also like to experience the atmosphere of mid autumn festival in china. will it be tradisional, or just like msia.. informal? =p
yea.. always do stuff related to mid autumn fest.
